This summer could see plenty of change at Arsenal, with a host of players apparently being lined up for exits from the Emirates, and a number of others being eyed up as potential arrivals.

Manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly grown frustrated at his side’s performances this season, and is now determined to recruit fresh faces to challenge for the Champions League qualification spots next term.

According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal are chasing Slavia Prague’s Abdallah Sima.

The 22-year-old, who made his debut for Senegal earlier this year, has scored 19 goals across all competitions this term, and is now being chased by a host of European clubs.

Sima is seen by Arteta as a potential replacement for either Alexandre Lacazette or Eddie Nketiah, both of whom have been linked with moves away from the Emirates.

Sima scored against Leicester in the Europa League earlier this season.

Arsenal, who are reportedly facing competition from West Ham for the striker, have been handed a boost in their pursuit of the player, as he has revealed that he would prefer a move to the Premier League over any other of Europe’s top divisions.

Slavia have allegedly already received a bid in the region of £25 million from an unnamed club for the forward, who could be allowed to leave for the right price.

The player was slapped with a £50 million price tag in January, however it is believed that a deal could be agreed for a lower fee.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also rumoured to be among the clubs chasing the striker, however he has made it clear that his preference is to move to the Premier League.
