Arsenal join Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United in the race for Schalke’s £28.9m-rated starlet

Arsenal have reportedly entered the running to sign Germany starlet Leroy Sane this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo (via Read Bundesliga).

The Premier League side; who currently sit third respectively in the standings, level on points with North London rivals Tottenham and two behind surprise leaders Leicester City, are among many potential suitors who are interested in recruiting Schalke’s talented young forward.

The 20-year-old, who made his international debut for the defending World Cup winners back in November 2015 against France, has scored six goals and provided five assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Sane, who is predominantly a right winger, is also said to be attracting interest from the likes of fellow English top-flight clubs Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, plus La Liga giants FC Barcelona this summer.

The reports suggest that Sane’s price tag has risen to a reported £28.9m as the attacking sensation has become one of Europe’s hottest prospects throughout the course of his impressive campaign.
