Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are reportedly keeping tabs on Walsall left-back Rico Henry, who has been dubbed the ‘new Ashley Cole.’
The 18-year-old has been in impressive form for the current League One leaders, scoring twice, which has led to a number of scouts from the top English clubs watching the young defender.
He won the Football League Young Player of the Month award in September and Saddlers boss, Dean Smith, says Henry, who can also play on the left wing, has everything to make it at the highest level.
“I’ve recommended him a couple of times to the England Under-19s because, if there’s a better left-sided player in the country at 18 years of age, I’d like to see them.”
