Arsenal will hope to take a huge step towards reaching the Champions League final when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their semi-final on Tuesday night.
The Gunners had hoped to lift the Premier League title this term, but Liverpool’s 5-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday crowned the Reds as champions and means Arsenal will likely finish as runners-up for the third consecutive campaign.
Mikel Arteta will be desperate to see his side get a positive result at The Emirates on Tuesday night, before a daunting trip to the French capital for the second leg.
Away from the action, though, Arsenal are said to be one of a number of Premier League sides interested in a Serie A star.
According to CaughtOffside, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all interested in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
The 27-year-old has impressed for Atalanta since joining the club from RB Leipzig in 2022.
In total he has scored 50 goals and registered 24 assists in 115 games for the club across all competitions – including a hat-trick in last season’s Europa League final – and his impressive form has attracted significant interest from clubs in England.
Lookman previously had spells in England with Charlton Athletic, Fulham, Everton and Leicester City, before departing for Germany.
The report claims that all four Premier League sides mentioned, as well as Newcastle United, are planning to hold talks with the player and his representative in the near future.
Spanish giants Barcelona and Italian outfit Juventus are also said to be interested in the Nigeria international, who would likely cost around £50-55 million if he were to be lured away from Bergamo.
Lookman is currently contracted to Atalanta until the end of the 2026/27 campaign, but the Serie A side may face a battle to keep hold of the Nigerian beyond this summer.
