The 24-year-old; who has 19 international caps for his country and has been included in Croatia’s 23-man squad for EURO 2016 later this month, made 36 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit this season, providing four assists.

Vrsaljko, who has now also reportedly been made fellow Italian club Napoli’s top summer transfer target, is highly regarded and tipped as one of the best full-backs in Serie A.

The report suggests that Napoli are ready to launch a £7m bid for the defender’s services, meaning the Gunners and Citizens may have to respond quickly in a bid to avoid missing out on the Croatian.
