Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool chasing Newcastle United’s EURO 2016 ace

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly in a three-way battle to land France international Moussa Sissoko this summer, according to L’Equipe (via Football Insider).

The Premier League trio, who finished in the top eight of the English top-flight standings last term, are all interested in signing the Newcastle United midfielder following the Magpies’ relegation last month.

The 26-year-old, who has 41 international caps for his country and is currently with the France national squad at EURO 2016 in his homeland, scored one goal and provided eight assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for Rafael Benitez’s side last season.

Sissoko, who arrived at St James’ Park back in 2013 following his switch from French outfit Toulouse, is still contracted to Newcastle until June 2019.

However the report suggests that Liverpool are the frontrunners to land the powerful midfielder ahead of the Gunners and Red Devils, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp seeking to capture his fifth summer signing following the arrivals of Sadio Mane, Loris Karius, Marko Grujic and Joel Matip already
