Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny is keen to leave the club this month, according to reports.

The 27-year-old made just 17 appearances in all competitions last term and is way down Unai Emery’s midfield pecking order.

Now Egyptian outlet El Ahly report that the ex-Basel star is trying to seal an exit from the Emirates.

It’s claimed that his agent Alan Nazmy has arrived in London to discuss his client’s future with the Gunners.

Elneny has win 75 senior caps for Egypt.

With the transfer window across the rest of Europe open until September 2, it’s expected that Nazmy will try to move the Egypt international to another club on the continent.

It’s thought that unnamed teams in France, Spain and Germany, plus Turkish side Galatasaray are all interested.

Elneny joined Arsenal in 2016 for around £5million and has played 89 matches for the club, scoring twice.
