Arsenal are reportedly lining up a sensational £75m double swoop for international forwards Riyad Mahrez and Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Mirror.
The Premier League side, who host Liverpool in their opening 2016/17 English top-flight fixture three weeks today, have been strongly linked with moves for the Leicester City winger and Lyon striker ahead of the new campaign.
Mahrez; 25, who has 24 international caps for Algeria, scored an impressive 18 goals and provided 10 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the title-winning Foxes last season.
Meanwhile France international forward Lacazette; also 25, netted 23 goals and provided four assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit last term.
The report suggests that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is mulling over a £75m double bid to try and lure the forwards to the Emirates Stadium – with Mahrez tipped to cost £35m from Leicester, whilst Lyon are likely to demand around £40m for Lacazette’s services.
