Arsenal’s January target Julian Draxler is on the verge of making a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, having agreed a contract with the club, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The Wolfsburg attacking midfielder, who looks destined for the exit door at the Bundesliga club, had been linked with a move to The Emirates on multiple occasions, but looks set for Ligue 1.

The former Schalke man has, according to the report, agreed terms on a four-and-a-half year deal in Paris, whilst all that is left to be finalised is a fee between the two clubs, with the German outfit believed to be chasing around £34m.

The Germany international, who was part of the 2014 World Cup winning squad, is yet to register a goal in 14 appearances this season, with just two assists to his name.

That may be a silver lining for Gunners fans, who will be disappointed in seeing another target pass by the wayside as they look to chase the Premier League title.
