England are on the verge of qualifying for Euro 2024 after a superb 7-0 win over North Macedonia on Monday evening.

A Bukayo Saka hat-trick, a Harry Kane brace, and goals from Marcus Rashford and Kalvin Phillips earned the Three Lions a convincing victory over their opponents, leaving them six points clear at the top of Group C.

Tottenham Hotspur captain Kane netted his 55th and 56th goals for England in the match, although the striker’s future at club level remains extremely uncertain amid interest from Manchester United.

His international teammate Declan Rice is also set to be at the centre of a transfer saga this summer, although it appears that his current club are standing firm.

As per 90min, West Ham United are set to reject a second offer from Arsenal for midfielder Rice.

The Gunners reportedly had an £80 million offer for the Englishman rejected last week, and the report claims that the Hammers are now set to decline a second bid of £90 million.

Rice, 24, has played a crucial role for West Ham over the past few seasons and captained the east London outfit to Europa League victory earlier this month.

Rice looks almost certain to leave West Ham this summer

He has been heavily linked with a move away from the club over the past few months, though, and co-owner David Sullivan revealed in the wake of their European victory that the player is ‘99% likely’ to leave.

Rice, who has also reportedly attracted interest from both Manchester City and Chelsea, is currently contracted to the Hammers until the summer of 2025.

In total, he has made 245 appearances for the London side across all competitions, including 50 last season.

Despite Arsenal’s interest, West Ham are said to be unhappy with the lack of progress in negotiations with Arsenal.

Arsenal’s latest offer is believed to be worth a guaranteed £75 million plus an additional £15 million in add-ons, although that figure is some way short of the £100 million price tag that the Hammers have set.

It is also claimed that Arsenal had previously indicated that they would be willing to meet West Ham’s demands, which has left the Hammers disgruntled after two lower offers so far.
