Arsenal are reportedly set to offer England Under-19 international starlet Edward Nketiah a new five-year contract, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who came from behind to defeat Swansea City 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, are poised to reward their young striker with a phenomenal 650 per cent pay rise following his Carabao Cup heroics earlier this month.
The 18-year-old, who has featured twice for England’s Under-19 side, scored twice against Championship side Norwich City during The Gunners’ 2-1 comeback victory last week.
Nketiah, who made his first-team debut for the North London outfit during Arsenal’s 4-2 win away to BATE Borisov in the UEFA Europa League back in late-September, has also netted three times and provided two assists in six Premier League 2 appearances this term.
The report suggests Arsenal will offer their talented teenager a new lucrative five-year deal, that will see his weekly wage rocket from £2,000 to £15,000, with talks set to begin within the next month.
