Arsenal have reportedly been quoted £18m if they want to sign Croatia international Marcelo Brozovic next month.

The Premier League side, who climbed to the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday, have been keeping close tabs on the Inter Milan midfielder this campaign ahead of the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who has 14 international caps for his country, has scored twice in 12 league appearances for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on signing a midfielder in the New Year following injuries to the likes of Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla.

Brozovic is in fact currently on loan at Inter Milan from Dinamo Zagreb, with the Italian’s holding an optional purchase clause in the summer.

However manager Roberto Mancini is thought to be prepared to sell immediately to Arsenal in January should their price tag be met next month.
