Arsenal play against Spanish top flight side Girona on Saturday in their first pre-season friendly of the summer.
Mikel Arteta’s defending Premier League champions will also play against Real Betis, Borussia Dortmund and Como before their first match of the season, against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The Gunners begin their Premier League campaign with a home match against newly-promoted Coventry City, before a visit to Aston Villa in their first away game of the season.
Ahead of the start of the new season, it has emerged that the north London club are set to have a huge offer for a Brazil international rejected.
As per TEAMtalk, Arsenal are set to make an offer of around £70 million for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, however the bid is likely to be rejected.
The Gunners have already shown interest in the midfielder so far this term and are now said to be preparing an improved £70 million bid for the 28-year-old.

Despite this, the report claims that the Magpies insist that their stance has not changed and that the player is not for sale.
The report suggests that Newcastle remain adamant that bids from Arsenal are ‘not welcome, not wanted and will not be accepted’.
Guimaraes joinned Newcastle from French side Lyon back in 2022 and has since made a total of 195 appearances for the North East side in all competitions.
He has scored 31 goals and provided 32 assists in that time, establishing himself as a key player at St. James’ Park.
The Brazil international – who featured for Carlo Ancelotti’s side at this summer’s World Cup – is under contract at Newcastle until the end of the 2027/28 season, and the report suggests that the Magpies intend to keep hold of the player beyond the end of the current transfer window.
