A number of Arsenal players didn’t feature too much during the international break, but if one of the senior players stood out, it was Santi Cazorla.
The Spaniard came on to replace Bayern Munich’s Thiago on 27 minutes in the 2-0 win over England on Friday night, and scored his team’s second goal, slotting a cool finish into Joe Hart’s bottom corner.
The 30-year-old has 77 caps for his country, and he will hoping that the strike against the Three Lions helps his cause for a starting place at Euro 2016 in France next summer.
