Whilst his contract situation is up in the air at The Emirates, seemingly pushed down the to-do list behind new deals for Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and, more recently, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal’s midfield maestro Santi Cazorla celebrates his 32nd birthday today. So, first thing’s first – Happy Birthday from all at Shoot!
The Spain international arrived in north London from Malaga back in 2012 and has shared some great moments with The Emirates faithful over the last four years.
Signing from the La Liga side for £10m in the same summer as both Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, the two time European Championship winner hit the ground running, bagging 12 Premier League goals in his maiden season in English football, playing in all 38 league games.
In his four years at the club the former Villarreal man has cemented his place in the Gunners midfield which, despite having the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in and around it, always looks poorer when Cazorla is missing.
The club have shared some of their favourite memories of the birthday boy, wishing him many happy returns and a speedy recovery.

We at Shoot! want to take a trip through the photo album since he arrived in the Premier League, here is his Arsenal career in pictures…
Having won the European Championships with Spain for the second time in 2012, Cazorla put pen-to-paper on a deal with Arsenal and began his Premier League adventure.
The Spaniard made his debut for the Gunners in a 0-0 draw with Sunderland on the opening day of the Premier League season, playing 90 minutes and even picking up the man of the match gong.
It didn’t take long for the Spain international to open his Premier League account, just three games in Cazorla picked up a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
Cazorla’s first season continued to go from strength to strength as he bagged his first ever Arsenal hat-trick, whilst also grabbing an assist, in a 5-2 win away at Reading.
The midfield wizard endeared himself to Gunners fans further with a famous little jig having setup Olivier Giroud’s goal against Man City.

Cazorla bagged the crucial first goal with a stunning free-kick as Arsenal recovered from a 2-0 defecit against Hull in the FA Cup final, as the Spaniard claimed his first silverware in England.
Santi donned the captain’s armband and lead the Gunners out at Wembley in the FA Cup final for the second successive season. This time it was rather more routine as Arsene Wenger’s side ran out 4-0 winners and claimed back-to-back FA Cup winners medals.
