There were probably two contenders for this – Petr Cech and Aaron Ramsey – following the 3-1 win against Sunderland, but we have opted for the latter.
Despite only returning from injury against Norwich the previous week, the Welshman was key to the Gunners’ victory on Saturday, setting up Olivier Giroud to put Arsene Wenger’s side ahead, before sealing the three points when he scrambled the ball in late on.
It was certainly a big boost after a disappointing November for the team and ahead of the crucial Champions League match away at Olympiacos on Wednesday night.
