Name: Jores Okore
Position: Defender

Okore has only played four Premier League games this season

Maybe not a name you expected to see, but hear us out.

It’s incredibly difficult to pick Aston Villa’s Player of the Year due to the fact leading contenders, Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph, left the club in the summer.

So with that in mind, we opted for Denmark centre-back Jores Okore, who, since returning to the side, has helped Villa become a bit more solid, with three 1-1 draws secured in four matches.

The 23-year-old also impressed former boss Tim Sherwood as his form at the turn of the year helped the club survive and reach the FA Cup final.
