The one team that’s endured a poorer start to the season than Sunderland is Aston Villa.

The summer sales of Christian Benteke and Fabian Delph have certainly shown with the Villans sitting bottom of the table on four points.

Villa battled to a point against City

One of these points, and their brightest showing of  their campaign, came in the Midlands outfit’s most recent match against Manchester City.

New boss Remi Garde, who replaced Tim Sherwood, will have been thrilled by his side’s fighting spirit to earn a goalless draw against the league leaders which ended their seven-match losing streak.
