Aston Villa picked up just one point from a possible 12 in November, and they remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table with just five points from their opening 14 matches.

Despite the disappointing results, their stand out player this month was their captain Micah Richards, who led by example and was named man of the match as the Villans picked up an impressive goalless draw against Manchester City at Villa Park before the international break.

However, things didn’t go well after the two-week hiatus with Remi Garde’s men losing 4-0 at Everton, before Richards scored the 3-2 home defeat by Watford.
