A last-gasp 2-2 draw at home to Group D runners-up Poland; in which Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski netted an agonising 94th minute equaliser, was followed up by an impressive performance during Gordon Strachan’s side’s 6-0 mauling of minnows Gibraltar on Sunday evening, with Hutton even assisting hat-trick hero Steven Fletcher’s first goal of the night.
