An away match in Gibraltar is not the toughest that European qualifying has to offer, but you can only beat what is in front of you and Clark helped the Republic of Ireland cruise past the minnows 4-0 on Friday. He followed this up with another clean sheet in the victory at home to Georgia that saw Ireland leapfrog Scotland into third place in Group D in what was a crucial weekend for the two nations.
