Bayern Munich are preparing a move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to the Sunday Express.

The 27-year-old will leave the Emirates when his contract expires in the summer after the north London side withdrew their offer of a new deal.

This has alerted Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool but it is now thought they face competition from the German giants.

The Bundesliga champions have been tracking the breakdown in negotiations between the Welshman and the Gunners.

Ramsey could be set for a switch to Bayern Munich.

And it’s thought the Allianz Arena outfit will offer a deal in January to Ramsey, who has had to settle for a place on the bench in Unai Emery’s in-form side over recent weeks.

Overall, the former Cardiff City star has made over 300 appearances in 10 years for Arsenal, collecting three FA Cups in which he notched winning goals in the 2014 and 2017 finals.
