Three Championship clubs are all interested in signing Peterborough United’s star striker Conor Washington next month.
It is understood that Birmingham City, Cardiff City and Wolverhampton Wanderers are weighing up moves for the forward, who has been in sensational form for the League One outfit so far this term.
The 23-year-old, who joined Posh from Newport County back in January 2014 for a reported fee of £500,000, has scored 11 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
Washington; who has netted nine goals in his last ten games, is one of the Football League’s hottest prospects, with a handful of Championship ready to offer him that step-up into the English second-tier during the January transfer window.
