Birmingham City have been reportedly linked with a summer swoop for Charlton Athletic full-back Morgan Fox, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The Championship club, who currently sit ninth in the league standings following their thrilling 2-2 draw against promotion contenders Middlesbrough last Friday and face Cardiff City on the final day of the 2015-16 campaign, are interested in snapping up the League One bound left-back.

The 22-year-old, who is a former Wales Under-21 international, has scored one goal and provided two assists in 44 appearances in all competitions for the already relegated Addicks so far this season.

Fox, who is a product of Charlton’s youth academy and earned his first professional deal at The Valley back in March 2012, was part of the squad that beat Birmingham home and away this term.

However after suffering relegation with Charlton to League One this campaign, Blues boss Gary Rowett is keen on recruiting the highly-rated left-back, who could provide valuable competition with regular full-back Jonathan Grounds at St Andrews beyond the summer.
