Manchester United and Everton are reportedly interested in signing England youth international goalkeeper Jake Turner, according to The Sun.

The Premier League duo, who currently sit second and ninth in the top-flight of English football, have both been linked with moves for Bolton Wanderers’ highly rated shot stopper during this month’s transfer window.

The 18-year-old, who has featured once for England’s Under-19 side, is yet to make his first-team debut for the Championship outfit, but has been named on the bench for five league fixtures this season.

Turner, who joined Northern League Premier side Stalybridge Celtic on loan only last month, is wanted by both clubs in a bid to develop his raw potential for the future.

However, the report suggests Bolton are demanding a hefty £4m for Turner’ services, which could put off United and Everton chasing his signature this month.
