Bolton eye move for former Premier League striker

Struggling Championship outfit Bolton Wanderers are reportedly lining up a move for free agent Carlton Cole.

The Trotters are currently sitting bottom of the table, and manager Neil Lennon is keen to sign a new striker to help boost his team, and is keeping tabs on the former West Ham attacker.

The 32-year-old is currently training with the Northern Irishman’s former club, Celtic, in order to win a deal, but Lancashire-based outfit are ready to hi-jack any potential deal.

Cole has made more than 200 appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea, Charlton, Aston Villa and West Ham, scoring 40 goals in England’s top-flight.
