Hull City captain Michael Dawson is reportedly a transfer target for AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United in January.
The 32-year-old, who earned four international caps for England, has scored once in 18 league games for Steve Bruce’s Championship side so far this season.
Dawson; who joined the Tigers from Tottenham back in August 2014 in a deal worth around £3.5m, has been instrumental in Hull’s 2015-16 campaign, with his side currently just five points behind leaders Middlesbrough in third place.
However Cherries boss Eddie Howe and Magpies manager Steve McClaren are on the lookout for a solid centre-half this January as both sides have slipped into a relegation fight this term in the English top-flight.
