Bournemouth, Newcastle, Stoke and Sunderland considering £1.2m bids for Ligue 2 star

AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United, Stoke City and Sunderland are all reportedly interested in Ligue 2 striker Anthony Koura.

The Premier League quartet, who all currently lie in the division’s bottom-half of the table, have been scouting the Nimes hitman since the start of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 22-year-old, who is a former France youth international, has scored three goals in 14 league appearances for the French outfit so far this season.

With Koura’s current deal due to expire next summer; the forward is understood to reluctant on extending his contract at the club given Nime’s rock-bottom standing in the Ligue 2 table after their opening 17 fixtures.

However the French club have placed a £1.2m price tag on their prized asset ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.
