Bournemouth are reportedly ready to rival West Bromwich Albion for the signing of £8 million-rated Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips, according to The Sun.

The Cherries have already signed two strikers – Benik Afobe and Lewis Grabban – for around £18 million this month, as well as completing a loan deal for Roma winger Juan Iturbe, but Eddie Howe might not be finished there.

The 38-year-old is also said to be eyeing up a move for QPR wide man Phillips, who has just 18 months left on his contract with the Loftus Road outfit.

The Scotland international has made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Championship club this term, scoring four goals.
