AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of Sheffield Wednesday defender Rhoys Wiggins.
The Premier League side, who currently sit just four points above the relegation zone, agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £200,000 for the Championship left-back over the weekend.
The 28-year-old, who is a former Wales Under-21 international, was restricted to just six league appearances for the Owls this season.
But after undergoing a medical with the Cherries; boss Eddie Howe has now signed Wiggins for a fourth time in his managerial career, with the defender putting pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year contract at Dean Court.
He will provide competition for first-choice left-back Charlie Daniels this campaign, whilst joining fellow new arrivals Juan Manuel Iturbe, Benik Afobe, Lewis Grabban and Marius Adamonis at the club this transfer window.
