Bournemouth snap up three players on Deadline Day

AFC Bournemouth completed a triple signing on deadline day with the acquisitions of Glenn Murray, Tomas Andrade and Joe Bennett.

The Cherries latest recruits mean the Premier League new boys have now invested in 12 new summer signings this transfer window as Eddie Howe’s men experience the club’s first-ever English top flight campaign.

Murray, 31, joins from fellow Premier League rivals Crystal palace in a deal worth £4m after scoring 47 goals in 125 appearances for the Eagles since arriving from Brighton and Hove Albion back in 2011.

Meanwhile, Argentine midfielder Tomas Andrade, 19, has joined on a season-long loan from River Plate.

And finally, Aston Villa defender Joe Bennett, who spent last season at Championship outfit Brighton, returns to the south coast this campaign after the 25-year-old similarly penned a loan until the end of the season at the Vitality Stadium.
