Bournemouth’s Premier League Player of the Month for October

Name: Matt Ritchie
Position: Midfielder

Ritchie has impressed so far this term.

The Cherries only picked up one point in the month of October, against Watford at home, with their other two matches against Manchester City and Tottenham ending in successive 5-1 defeats.

That makes it hard to choose a stand out player, but if you were to pick one, you would probably choose their Scotland international.

Ritchie set up team-mate Murray for the goal in the 1-1 draw against the Hornets, before he opened the scoring against Spurs after just 49 seconds.

Eddie Howe will need the 26-year-old’s creativity and threat in front of goal to continue if Bournemouth are to stave off relegation.
