Christian Atsu (Ghana)
The man on loan on the south coast from Chelsea played a key role in Ghana’s 1-0 victory in Rwanda as the Black Stars claimed their second successive success in African Cup of Nations qualifying. Atsu was a threat throughout but was thwarted on numerous occasions by the Rwandan goalkeeper. However, a late free-kick from Las Palmas winger Wakaso Mubarak secured victory for his side.
