Brighton, Fulham, Leeds and Nottingham Forest fail in deadline day loan approaches for Hull City forward

Four Championships clubs reportedly had loan offers rejected by Hull City for forward Sone Aluko, according to the BBC’s Ian Dennis.

Brighton and Hove Albion, Fulham, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest were all thought to be eager to thrash out a deadline day loan move for the Nigeria international.

The 26-year-old, who has seven international caps for his country, has scored just one goal in 20 appearances in all competitions for Steve Bruce’s Tigers this season.
