Burnley are leading Middlesbrough in the race to sign Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans on loan, according to the Daily Mail (12:37pm).
Despite making 16 Premier League appearances this term, including 12 starts, the Scotland international is understood to be frustrated at Carrow Road, and looking for a temporary move away to secure more regular first-team football.
This news has alerted the high-flying Championship duo, who are both looking to strengthen their squads for a final push for promotion to the Premier League.
Dorrans has made 20 appearances in all competitions this season, but is yet to get on the scoresheet.
