Manchester City travel to the Bernabeu on Wednesday night looking to seal a passage into their first-ever Champions League final when they take on Real Madrid (19:45).

The La Liga title contenders; who currently trail joint-leaders FC Barcelona and Atletico Madrid by a single point in the Spanish top-flight, are set to hand another start to Wales winger Gareth Bale, who scored the winning goal against Real Sociedad at the weekend (0-1).

Meanwhile the Citizens, who disappointingly lost 4-2 at Southampton on Sunday, are set to recall fellow star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne after he was rested for the Premier League tie at St Mary’s Stadium.
