As Arsenal prepare to face FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League, the Gunners hopes are likely to rest on their star striker Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman has bagged 12 goals in his 20 Premier League starts this season, and his 18 goals in all competitions make him the club’s top goalscorer so far this campaign.

However, Giroud hasn’t scored since netting a brace against Liverpool in a 3-3 draw back in January, so manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping that his first choice striker will make a welcome return to form tonight.

However form is something that Barcelona’s Luis Suarez doesn’t have to worry about currently. Having scored 15 goals in his last ten games, the Uruguayan has also been helping his teammates out too by registering eight assists at the same time, too.

The controversial striker netted the decisive second goal in Barcelona’s 3-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final last season, and the former Liverpool man will be desperate to win the trophy again this campaign.

Shoot takes a look at both of the strikers and their stats as they go head-to-head at the Emirates Stadium in this last-16 first-leg clash…
