Chelsea have sent scouts to watch Copenhagen teenage star Roony Bardghji, according to reports.

The 16-year-old has made his senior breakthrough this term, becoming the youngster goalscorer in Danish top division football back in November.

According to Goal, Kuwait born Bardghji, who represents Sweden at youth level, is attracting interest from Chelsea.

Bardghji is Copenhagen’s youngest debutant.

It’s claimed the Blues, along with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Ajax have been to watch Roony as there looks set to be a huge battle for his signature.

Copenhagen would reportedly be looking for a fee in the region of £8-11.5 million to be willing to let their starlet depart.

The midfielder, who joined his current club from Malmo in 2020, will be focussed on adding to his two senior appearances to date when the Danish Superliga resumes in February.
