Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign promising young striker Emmanuel Emegha from French side Strasbourg.
The Blues confirmed on Friday that they had reached an agreement to sign the Dutchman, who will join the club next year.
Emegha, 22, joined Strasbourg from Austrian side Sturm Graz in 2023 and has since scored 26 goals in 64 games for his current side across all competitions.
He netted 14 times in 27 league games last season, and has already scored three times in the early weeks of the new campaign.

The Ligue 1 side are owned by BlueCo who also own Chelsea, and several players have moved between the two clubs over the past couple of years.
Djordje Petrovic, Andrey Santos and Angelo all spent time on loan with the French club after signing for the Blues, while defender Mamadou Sarr joined Chelsea from Strasbourg over the summer, before returning to the French side on loan shortly after.
Emegha’s contract with the Ligue 1 outfit is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 season, but he is now expected to sign a long-term deal when joining Chelsea next year.
Strasbourg, under the management of Liam Rosenior, will compete in the Europa Conference League this season, a competition that Chelsea are the current holders of.
So far this season they have won two of their three matches in the French top flight, with Emegha scoring once.
