Chelsea and Tottenham to fight over Romelu Lukaku’s £3m-rated younger brother

Chelsea and Tottenham could go head-to-head this summer in a bid to sign Belgium international Jordan Lukaku, according to the Daily Star.

The Premier League sides, who currently sit 12th and second in the standings respectively after 26 fixtures, have been impressed by the defender’s performances for Oostende this term.

The 21-year-old, who made his international for his country back in October 2015 against Andorra, has scored two goals and provided six assists in 22 league games for the Jupiler Pro League outfit so far this season.

Jordan, who is the younger brother of Everton’s top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku, is out of contract at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.

The report suggests he could be available for around £3m this summer, should London rivals Chelsea and Spurs wish to firm up their interest in the highly-rated left-back.

It was the Blues who snapped up Jordan’s older brother Romelu from Anderlecht for £18m back in 2011, however he failed to break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge and sealed a permanent switch to Everton in the summer of 2014.
