Chelsea have sealed a deal to sign 16-year-old Tromso striker Bryan Fiabema.
According to reports by VG, the Norway Under-17 international has agreed to pen a three-and-a-half year contract when he turns 17 in February.
It’s claimed that the teenager had been on trial with the Blues and impressed enough to earn a permanent move which will see him go into the club’s youth set-up
Chelsea will reportedly pay less than £900,000 for the forward, but Tromso also have a sell-on fee.
Fiabema, who was at the 3-0 Premier League win over Burnley on Saturday, officially becomes Frank Lampard’s first signing since taking charge at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Chelsea legend was unable to bring in any players in the last transfer window due to the club’s FIFA transfer ban for breaching rules in relation to the signing of youth players.
However, that decision was overturned last month, meaning the West London side can strengthen their ranks in January.
