Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has a lot to do this summer as he looks to bolster his ranks ahead of a return to the Champions League next season.
The Premier League champions have been linked with a number of midfield options in recent weeks and it looks like, after the success brought from signing N’Golo Kante, the Italian will be looking for a similar addition this time around.
According to Bleacher Report the Blues are keen on a deal for industrious midfielder Idrissa Gueye this summer after the former Aston Villa man, who has been hailed by some as the next Kante, impressed in his first season under Ronald Koeman.
The 27-year-old, who is valued at £10.2m, ranked above the former Leicester man in terms of tackles last season and made just one less interception.
However, before fans in west London get excited over the thought of the two teaming up, BR claim that the Toffees have absolutely no intention of letting their man go.
