Chelsea could be interested in signing USA international forward Christian Pulisic, according to the Daily Mail.

The defending Premier League champions, who defeated Championship club Hull City 4-0 in the FA Cup on Friday night, have been linked with the Borussia Dortmund winger, should the German side wish to sign striker Michy Batshuayi permanently this summer.

The 19-year-old, who has 20 international caps for his country, has scored four goals and provided three assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this season.

Pulisic, who used to play for English non-league side Brackley Town’s youth team, has netted 11 goals in 83 games overall for Dortmund since making his first-team debut back in January 2016.

The report claims the German club’s intention to sign loanee forward Batshuayi, who has scored five times in his first three outings for Dortmund, permanently this summer could open the door for The Blues to lure the American to Stamford Bridge in return.

Chelsea could be open to selling Belgian Batshuayi at the end of the 2017-18 campaign if they can sign Pulisic, who is valued at £40.5m, by transfermarkt.
