Chelsea have reportedly offered international Miralem Pjanic a three-year deal, according to Tuttomercatoweb (via the Daily Star).

The defending Premier League champions, who currently sit tenth in the English top-flight standings after thrashing rock-bottom Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park on Saturday, have been linked with making a move for the AS Roma midfielder once the 2015-16 campaign has concluded.

The 26-year-old, who has 67 international caps for his country, has impressively scored 11 goals and provided 11 further assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Pjanic, whose current contract expires in 2018, reportedly has a buy-out clause of £30m at the Italain club.

The report suggests that newly appointed manager Antonio Conte, who will arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer after guiding Italy through their Euro 2016 campaign in France to replace interim boss Guus Hiddink, has identified the Bosnian star as one of his top transfer targets ahead of the new 2016-17 season.
