Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba’s agent over a possible £80million summer move, according to Get French Football News, via the Daily Star.
Incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte is understood to have told the hierarchy at the west London outfit that bringing the France international, who he worked with during the duo’s spell together at Juve, to Stamford Bridge is his priority when he takes charge after leading Italy at the European Championships.
And Chelsea are said to have been in ‘constant contact’ with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, in the last few weeks as they look to strengthen a team that ended a disappointing Premier League season in 10th position, despite the 23-year-old recently suggesting he would be happy to stay in Turin.
However, the huge asking price for the Frenchman could be a problem for the Blues, as well as the reported interest from Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
