Chelsea join Arsenal and Manchester United in race for Celtic’s Tierney

Premier League leaders Chelsea were handed a huge boost in their push for the title last night when London rivals West Ham and Tottenham clashed at the London Stadium, with the Hammers taking three oh-so valuable points from Mauricio Pochettino’s second placed side.

The win for Slaven Bilic’s men means should the Blues take the spoils when they face Middlesbrough on Monday night, a gap of seven points will have been opened up at the top with just three games to go.

With the title race all but over, the focus will slowly switch to summer business and, with that in mind, reports from Mail Online are suggesting Chelsea are the latest to join the race for a sought-after full-back north of the border.

The Blues have joined Arsenal and Manchester United in taking an interest in Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, after manager Antonio Conte made bringing in another left-back a priority.

However, the Celts – not wanting to lose the 19-year-old – have slapped a £17m asking price as a small deterrent.
