Chelsea are reportedly lining up a surprise January move for former Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez.
The Mexico international only made the move to his current club, Bayer Leverkusen, in the summer, but is already being eyed up for a return to the Premier League with the Blues.
Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his attacking options in January, with his team scoring just 16 goals in their 12 matches in England’s top-flight this term.
This has led the Portuguese boss to take a look at Hernandez, with the 27-year-old netting ten goals in just 17 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit so far this campaign.
