Chelsea will allow Conor Gallagher to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal, according to reports.
The 20-year-old caught the eye on loan at both Charlton Athletic and Swansea City in the Championship last term, registering six goals and eight assists in 47 appearances.
Now, according to the Evening Standard, the England Under-21 international will make the step up to the Premier League with the Eagles.
It’s claimed that the midfielder underwent a medical at the weekend and will sign a contract extension at Chelsea before sealing the temporary move.
Gallagher, who won the Under-17 World Cup with England in 2017, was the Blues’ Academy Player of the Year in 2018/19 and picked up a Europa League winner’s medal.
Despite being an exciting talent, Frank Lampard has a wealth of talent in midfield with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, Billy Gilmour, Jorginho, Ethan Ampadu, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount all competing for spot.
