Name: Loic Remy
Position: Striker
Before the transfer window opened, all of the rumours suggested that Loic Remy would be leaving Chelsea on loan in January.
However, with Radamel Falcao struggling with injury, the France international could be required to stay at at the club by boss Guus Hiddink, providing support to Diego Costa.
The Dutch coach has already hit out at Aston Villa manager Remi Garde for making his interest in the striker public, and a number of Villa’s Premier League rivals, including Swansea and Crystal Palace, have also been linked with a temporary move for the 29-year-old attacker.
Remy has struggled to get first-team football since moving to Stamford Bridge from QPR in 2014, and has a record of 12 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions.
