Chelsea are reportedly prepared to splash out a club-record £64m on France international Paul Pogba next month.
The defending Premier League champions, who currently sit 14th in the standings heading into the New Year, have been long-term admirers of the Juventus midfielder.
The 22-year-old, who has 25 international caps for the Euro 2016 host nation, has scored four and assisted six goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the defending Serie A champions this season.
Pogba, who left top-flight rivals Manchester United back in 2012 after refusing to sign a new contract due to a lack of first-team opportunities, is also attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and his former club United.
